English artist William Hogarth was known as an ‘alternative’ 17th century English artist who dared to make a statement. A late night moody atmosphere inspired our Hogarth wood floor patina, which is of a darker tone with subtle lighter undertones.
Hogarth favoured the use of darker colours and his portraits and paintings of life during this era have influenced our colour choice for this European Mountain Oak wooden flooring.

Should I be concerned about the colour variation within a product?
If you are concerned about colour variation you can order a sample panel for a refundable deposit. Please remember that we are not creating exact copies of floor panels or hand samples, we are creating individual floors with their own unique personality and charm.
