This adaption of a traditionally white-washed wooden flooring reflects the style of 18th century painter Paul Sandby. Sandby typically used watercolours in a lighter shades creating British landscape paintings with a calming atmosphere and a tranquil haze of summer.
Our lighter pigments used in Sandby reflect the pastel colours Sandby loved to use in his visual representations of 18th century British life. Our Sandby’s inspired base tones are also compatible with commercial hard wax oils, for a long-lasting finish.

Should I be concerned about the colour variation within a product?
If you are concerned about colour variation you can order a sample panel for a refundable deposit. Please remember that we are not creating exact copies of floor panels or hand samples, we are creating individual floors with their own unique personality and charm.
